ANY IMPROVEMENT IS AN IMPROVEMENT!
Take the first step towards a healthy life style:
YOU WILL LOVE THE FEELING of been healthy and in shape.
Whey Protein: great natural source of protein
First improvement of 2024:
get rid of the sugar
First, you need to know that:
Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the world, and there is a close relationship between sugar intake and heart disease.
Sugar intake can raise blood pressure, increase chronic inflammation, cause fatty liver, cause diabetes and all this combined can increase your chances of having Heart Disease and stroke.
And there is obesity, that CAN BE PREVENTED.
Added sugar is not only the sugar that YOU add to your coffee, or a juice. Added sugar is also used by the food manufacturers use to add flavor or extend shelf life. There is added sugar on soft drinks, fruit drinks, flavored yogurts, cereals, cookies, cakes, candy, and most processed foods. But added sugar is also present in items that you may not think of as sweetened, like soups, bread, cured meats, and ketchup.
So our FIRST resolution for 2024 is TO GET RID OF SUGAR.
But as I always say, ANY IMPROVEMENT IS AN IMPROVEMENT, so:
1. Try to replace industrialized food for natural vegetables, fruits, meats.
2. Diet Soda is an improvement from regular Soda.
3. Seltzer water is an improvement from Diet Soda.
4. Water is an improvement from Seltzer Water.
5. Dark chocolate is an improvement from Milk Chocolate.
6. Sweetener on your coffee is an improvement from sugar (any).
7. 1 pack of sweetener is an improvement from 2 packs.
8. No sweetener at all is an improvement from 1 pack of sweetener.
9. Natural Yogurt with natural fruit and some honey is an improvement from Fruit Yogurt.
10. Non fat Yogurt with natural fruit is an improvement from Natural Yogurt with honey.

Let's talk about juices
Are juices good for weight loss? First, answer me this: do you eat fruits? Do you like fruits? If your answer is no, than juices are great for you. Because as I always say, ANY IMPROVEMENT IS AN IMPROVEMENT. So, if you don't like fruits, juices may be an option for you, in some way, to consume fruits and take advantage of the micronutrients - vitamins and minerals - that fruits offer and your body needs. However, if your answer is yes, you don't need juices. Think with me: the whole fruit will offer, besides the nutrients, fibers, that are important and needed for a healthy intestine function. When you blend the fruit, fibers are lost. Also, eating the whole fruit will provide you less calories than a full glass of juice. For example: if you eat an orange, you will have one (45 calories) or maybe two (90 calories). For a glass of orange juice, you will consume four (180 cal) or five (225 cal) oranges.
